Kolkata Knight Riders 175 for 7 (Ganguly 86*, Gul 24) beat Kings XI Punjab 174 for 6 (Sangakkara 64, Marsh 40, Gul 4-23) by three wickets

Gul inspired Kolkata Knight  Riders to finish on a high note against Punjab Kings XI. This was the last game for Knight Riders and they showed that they wanted to finish the very way they  had started their victory campaign of the tournament, for King Khan.

Unfortunately, Gul's efforts to win over Punjab wouldn't get them a berth into semis. Knight Riders have been eliminated from the final fours. Had they played like the last game, may be they would have got into the final fours.

Well, there is always a next time.

Kolkata Knight Riders 28/0

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss against Delhi Daredevils and decided to bat. At the end of five overs they were at 28/0 - a slow and steady start.
