ISLET (St. Lucia), April 16: 3rd and final One Day International between West Indies and Sri Lanka was abandoned due to continuous heavy rain. At the end both the teams were evenly poised. The home team was 81 for two off 18.2 overs, chasing Sri Lanka's 257 for
eight off 50, when showers swept across Beausejour Stadium and caused the
abandonment of the match and a no result on Tuesday.
With this West Indies won the three game series 2-0 with victories last week in Trinidad.
Ramnaresh Sarwan was sidelined by a shoulder injury forced him out of action. After ten months, he has made a convincing return to the West Indies side. Read at
