Harbhajan Singh has been lucky this time to get away with a ban of just five ODIs. One more mistake like this one and he will be out of ever.
Harbhajan Singh was banned by the Indian board for five ODIs for slapping Sreesanth
during an IPL match last month. The ban means Harbhajan will miss
India's forthcoming tri-series in Bangladesh and the start of the Asia
Cup in Pakistan.
Earlier Bhajji was banned for 11 matches in the IPL in addition to ODIs.
Harbhajan Singh is in the new again. And this time Harbhajan allegedly slapped Sreesanth after
Mumbai Indians lost their IPL match to Kings XI Punjab last night and the
paceman was seen bitterly crying on the field.
"It looks like a serious matter the
way it's being shown on television channels but I can't say anything now. In any
tournament it should not happen, it's unfortunate what happened yesterday," Lalit Modi, Chairman of IPL
told reporters here.
